About AetherNet
Software for the people running the network
AetherNet is a hotspot billing and management platform built for ISPs, hotspot operators and networking businesses — starting in Uganda, designed for how operators across Africa actually work.
Why
The console we wished existed
Hotspot operations run on a mix of spreadsheets, notebooks and whatever the router can print. Money is tracked by hand, vouchers get duplicated, and nobody can say which site is doing well without a day of counting.
AetherNet replaces that with one console: vouchers with a real lifecycle, sales with receipts, customers with history, routers that enroll themselves safely, and analytics that match the network. It is built for operators who want their business to be legible — to themselves, their staff and their bank.
How we build
Principles we don’t bend
- No fake dashboards. If a number can’t come from real records, it doesn’t ship.
- No dead buttons. Every control in the console has a tested effect.
- No surprise access. Your routers dial out; nothing on your side listens for the internet.
- Honest roadmaps. Features appear on this site when they work, not when they’re imagined.
Built on
Technology chosen for operator reality
MikroTik RouterOS
First-class enrolment, provisioning and management agent support.
FreeRADIUS
Standards-based authentication, accounting and disconnect (CoA).
PostgreSQL
Exact money in minor units, tenant isolation, real migrations.
Spring Boot + Next.js
A boring, dependable stack that will still be maintainable in five years.
AetherNet is an independent product in active development. We grow with a small group of pilot operators — every claim on this site is one we can demonstrate live in a workspace.

Pilot operators shape the roadmap. If that sounds right, introduce yourself.
